In this episode we begin to discover more about the other neighbors at the Arconia and their relationships to one another.

This episode begins with events from the past. Oilver Putnam is planning a musical version of the hit movie, Splash! It showcases the character’s ability to pursude investors to his vision. Very much like Max Bialystock in The Producers. It’s worth noting that, in separate productions, Nathan Lane (who plays Teddy Dimas in this series) portrayed Max Bialystock while Martin Short (who plays Oliver Putnam) portrayed Leo Boom, the accountant in The Producers.

We have a charming rendition of the podcast theme rendered by Charles on his concertina.

In a mood of frustration, Oliver plays Prelude No. 4 in E minor by Fredrick Chopin. Chopin wrote this set of 24 preludes between 1835 – 1839, one in each of the 24 keys. It was played on the organ at the composers funeral which reflects Oliver’s despair accurately.
